So happy to report that we closed on our house at the beginning of March and have been living here full time for the past two weeks. It has been nothing short of exhausting and incredible! Moving with three young kids is pretty tough, but thanks to some superior help from the grandparents we made it through unscathed.

| Closing day! |
We had a campout in the new house the night before the movers came and the kids had a ball setting up their blankets and beds upstairs.

The next day was moving day and my dad came over to help get the kids' rooms painted before furniture arrived - it was close, but we pulled it off. Before the kids all left to go to my parents' house for a sleepover, my dad showed each kiddo how to roll paint on a wall. They thought this was pretty spectacular!
When Todd arrived with the movers, I was floored by how much STUFF we had - the number of boxes flowing out of that truck was ridiculous - how in the world does it take that much stuff to live comfortably? It ended up all being fine and everything found its place in the house, but it was a crazy sight.
GG came to help out on Tuesday and Pop Pop joined on Friday. Having the help they provided was amazing and I was able to get lots accomplished while Todd was working and GG was with the kids.

| Lia is in love with the number of rolly pollys she is able to catch. That entire blue cup was full by the time she was done. |
A few days after we moved, we invited the gang over for happy hour to celebrate. It was great fun to be able to host again!
One of my favorite things has been the view out our back patio. We have thrown some deer corn out and have had some deer friends visit every evening (along with some raccoons which Todd is less excited about...). We've seen lots of great birds and hung our bird feeder out on a tree.

The house is coming together nicely. I'm happy with how everything looks and my planning has paid off. At this point, most (if not all) of the house boxes are unpacked and things are put away. We are still working on getting cable and internet going and getting the garage set up.
We are absolutely loving the new house, the backyard area, the walks around the block, new neighbors and friends to meet, and having Mimi and Bob-o right next door! It feels like home already and I love it.
