This summer the kids are participating in a few different camp experiences intermingled with going to preschool as usual - but their mixed up summer version. Last week was music camp for Lia and Mady was also signed up. The camp was not full day, so Mady hung out with us for awhile after camp and played until her parents came to pick her up. Having 4 kids isn't that much different than 3, but it is an adjustment! The kids had a great time at camp and I had fun hanging out with just Erin and Halle during the morning hours.
Music camp day 1 - they were so excited!
This camp was really a great opportunity for the kids to try lots of different musical instruments. The first day the girls were excited to share that they got to play a violin! They also did piano, guitar, ukulele, conga drums, xylophone, harmonica and bells.
On the last day, the kids did a little performance outside. For the first two songs, Lia and Mady were just singers while everyone else played an instrument. Didn't make for great videos... but the last song they got to do the guitars and it was super cute.
If you listen closely to the video, you hear Lia sing pretty confidently by herself - it was the wrong verse, but who cares? she was so awesome.
