So we took the plunge. GG and Pop Pop were doing all the same things we were doing to be cautious and as safe as possible - it was now or potentially not at all - worth the risk.
The kids were THRILLED! "Wait? Do we have to keep distance from them even when they are in our house?" "Nope, you can hug them" "WHAT???? We can HUG them???" "YAAAAY!!!!" What a sad world we live in right now when kids are asking if it is ok to hug their grandparents (and often being told no).
It was a little odd not ever leaving the house while we are hosting guests, but I think just having the relaxing time together was great for everyone. Reading, snuggling, baking, fishing, canoeing, going on walks and bike rides, playing games, yard projects, roller blading in the garage, etc, etc, etc

| Todd and Rick went out late one night to hunt for snakes and frogs. They were like boys at camp. So funny |
Our neighborhood hosted a parade for the high school graduates since they are not getting to have a graduation ceremony. It was pretty fun to watch them all roll by and everyone especially loved all the emergency vehicles. Love this small town vibe.
