Lia Reads!

The kindergarten transformation has been pretty dang incredible.  Math, Science, History, and Reading!  She is impressing us all with her new found knowledge on lots of different subjects.  Love, love, love.

As part of her homework each week, Lia is expected to read the 2 books the teacher sends home several times to practice.  Sometimes she isn't super motivated to stop playing and do this, but reading to Mimi and Miles was great incentive!

Having Lia read this little introductory books has been amazing, but Todd and I were both so impressed when she picked up Green Eggs and Ham the other day and just started reading it cold.  AMAZING.  She was so cute too - "Dad!!  I can read a REAL book now!!"

So, so proud.  My sweet reading girl.  :)
