I can't believe this happened again! The temperature was in the 60's and the kids were wearing shorts outside and two days later... snow. Like REAL snow. LOTS of snow!!
It started off mostly wet slushy stuff, but the kids didn't care - they were out in the wet and cold trying to mush together a snowman. They were successful in the "Texas Snowman" - the handheld variety with grass sticking out of it everyone.
It was so pretty to watch it falling and even better to see that it started to STICK! This, in Texas, is another level of snow victory. Then it just kept going and going - it snowed for hours. It was completely incredible.
It was torture waiting for Miles and Carson to get up from nap to come and play with us!!
An awesome neighbor came out in his pj pants and snapped a group picture for us!! We have very few pictures of our two families all together and I LOVE these!
Stephen and Halle have a sordid history when it comes to snowballs... They had some unfinished business to take care of this time. If you don't recall the snowball surprise moment - see it

A REAL snowman! The kids were so proud. There may have been dog poop rolled up in it.... Another Texas thing. lol
Ending with this fun one - the moment when your kind neighbor tries to get a jumping photo and yells "JUMP!" And Todd is the only one to hear him... LOL
What a fabulous day. Snow Day 2021 for the WIN!!
