School is COOL

Back to school time!!  The girls were ready for school this year and were excited to meet their teachers.  Erin and Halle were lucky enough to score Lia's teachers from last year - just in opposite homerooms!

And, we can't let a year go back without our official back to school photos!  This year we did matching EGE tshirts since it is their last year all at Elm Grove... *tear*

Lia - 5th Grade

Lia said her favorite part of summer was going to GG and Pop Pop's house for "Camp GG Pop Pop."  She is excited to see her friends at school and get to know her teachers.  Lia said her favorite part about school is reading and least favorite is math.  When asked what she likes best about herself, she said "My frekles"  *melt*  She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up.

Halle - 4th grade

Halle is always ready for the next fun thing!  She said "everything" was the best about this summer and could not narrow down her favorite.  She is excited to see her friends and her teachers, but is mostly looking forward to art class in the new art room.  Halle enjoys reading the most about school and is a little nervous about learning decimals in 4th grade.  She wants to run a doggie day care when she grows up.  

Erin - 4th grade

Erin chose a three way tie for her favorite parts about summer - camp, the lake, and her birthday.  All great choices I think!  She said her favorite things about herself where "than I'm different" and "I'm cute."  She enjoys math the most in school and said reading is her least favorite subject.  Erin feels proud when is finishes a book and does well on the AR test that follows.  Erin said she is "still figuring out" what she wants to be when she grows up.  :)

The day before the first day of school we went and celebrated the end of summer with sno cones!

It is a new chapter with Miles at Elm Grove too!!!
