It has become a bit of a tradition to end our summer at the lake with the Shorts. We have found a lake that is always full of water despite the Texas summer heat and we really like trying out new houses in the area. This house may have been my favorite of all. Lots of space to play, lakefront with safe swimming areas and two king bedrooms with bathrooms! WIN all around.

| The water was exceptionally warm this year. Probably due to the weather and the fact that the power plant uses the lake water for cooling - dumping lots of hot water back into the lake. The only time it felt cool was when an adult jumped in and stirred up all the cool water from the bottom. |

| Not sure why, but the little tiny flies were DISGUSTING and swarming after dark. Never had this experience before and hope to not ever again... |
