Gearing Up!

Found a few random pictures from the last week or so that I wanted to add in before I do the whole Christmas post.  We've been having such fun celebrating the Christmas season!

Lia has been selecting her own clothes and as long as she can justify to me that it matches and is weather appropriate, she can wear it.

This picture doesn't look like much, but I was so excited that Lia was reading to Erin from a brand new book just from looking at the pictures, rather than making some up or reciting it from memory.

Christmas cookie baking with Mady!

In preparation for the ridiculous amounts of items we will be backing in our car for Christmas, I moved Lia's car seat up to the second row.  They were so pumped and were joyous on the way to Target and little hellions on the way home - "stop touching my seat!  This is my seat!  Mom!  Lia touching my seat!"

Their preschool put on a little performance for the parents on the last day of school before the holiday break.  I was interested to see how Erin and Halle would do in this type of event and they did great!  Sat the whole time, sang (more like whispered) and were not rolling on the floor like some of the other kids!  haha.

Lia's class was up next!  We were in the front row and Lia was thrilled to see us on her way up the steps.

The next few days were spent wrapping, packing and prepping for our Christmas trip to Dallas!
