Just for fun, I looked back at Lia's 16 month post and was interested in comparing some basic milestones.
Lia had 4 teeth and two on the way - E&H are about the same!
Lia was obsessed with climbing which must be a developmental thing for this age because Erin and Halle are up on everything!
Lia was engaging in play with Sydney and liked to throw the ball or frisbee for her. Erin and Halle couldn't care less about Sydney. Probably much more fun to play with your sisters than with the dog! Poor Syd.
Lia moved up to a forward facing car seat when she was 16 months old so we could get her car seat ready for the twins. Erin and Halle still fit in their baby car seats and I intend to leave them there for as long as I can!
Lia was wearing 12 month and 18 month clothes. Erin and Halle are in between the sizes right now. I don't want to buy any more 12 month items but some of the 18 month things are a little big. Hit or miss on brands and styles I think.
Erin and Halle have much longer hair than Lia did at the same age and theirs is growing in more evenly on their whole head.
Lia knew a TON of signs by this point (probably about 30-40). Erin and Halle probably know about 15 or 20 - we aren't emphasizing it as much as we did with Lia and are focusing on the ones we really need for daily life (more, eat, all done, please, etc). They are picking up some of the fun signs for animals and other things really quickly though.
Erin is talking much more than Lia did at the same age and has more words. Halle and Lia are tracking pretty much the same at this point.
They seem to be very similar overall - especially in terms of size and their teeth... Language is probably the biggest difference between them all. Fun to compare!!
