Christmas Part Two

We traveled up to Fort Worth on the 27th to visit with Todd's side of the family for Christmas.  We were there for a few days and had a total blast.  The kids were enamored with Julia (and all her toys) and were occupied for long periods of time without too much adult help.  Pretty nice!

The pictures are all on Tyler's camera and I've been patiently waiting for them to do this blog, but nothing yet.  So, you are stuck with the pictures from our cell phones until the goodies come in!


Snuggle time with my Lia-girl and sweet Julia!  This trip, Julia decided that Lia and I were the best thing since sliced bread and when she wasn't with Lia, she was with me.  Pretty cute to hear her attempts to say "Aunt Becky" come through as "ahh ba ba."

Erin and Halle got jealous and joined in on the fun.

Halle then decided she didn't have enough sections of my lap and moved over to Uncle Ty.

Baby Carter!!  

We all got some time in with baby Carter and he is so fantastic.  Most laid back baby ever and so stinking cute!  I mean seriously, how can you resist those cheeks!!!???!

Todd took Lia out on a muffin date one afternoon and found a really awesome lake nearby.  They stopped to check it out.

Monday, the boys (Tyler, Todd and Pop Pop) took all the girls to a trampoline park.  It is an indoor area just full of trampolines.  Lia was (of course) in heaven, Julia had a blast and Erin and Halle freaked out for 50% of the time.  Haha.  For Erin, who still doesn't like things to move under her, this was probably a version of hell.  Pop Pop figured out that they had fun if they were sitting in someone's lap, so that is how they played the rest of the time.  :)  Thankfully, the place also had lots of balls to play with and a big foam pit that they all absolutely loved.

The ride home was great and the kids are getting much better at managing that drive to DFW.  We were happy to be home and just have a few days to veg out.  It was a wonderful trip and we already can't wait for the next visit!
