Grape PaPa and Uncle Bob

My Grandpa and Uncle Bob came in for a visit recently and we were excited to get to visit with them.  I brought the girls over one morning to play and spend time together and it was so special to see all three of them playing happily with my grandfather.  Got some great pictures of that day to share.

My uncle and grandpa are also excellent woodworker and craftsmen like my dad and so they were working on a few new projects for us.  We were so excited to see the results!

Thanks to Pinterest brillance, they made a wine barrel water pump for the kids to use on warm days.  They pump water themselves into various containers and have a total blast.  It has been the main attraction since it has been added to the yard.  Thankfully, we've had the warm weather for it because they get soaked!

Lia figured out how to do it in 3.5 seconds flat and is a total pro.  Erin worked very hard yesterday for about 20 minutes to figure out how to get water out of the thing and now she can do it too!  It is a lot more effort for her, but she is always delighted when even a tiny trickle comes out.  So fun to watch.  Halle?  Well, she's not really been given the chance to try...  haha.

They also made us an amazing, huge, awesome picnic table to replace our terrible, small and non-awesome, falling apart table.  I don't have any pictures of it yet, but it has already been used daily!  Love it!
